Access to hashtag#electricity is a critical contributor towards #economicgrowth and #sustainabledevelopment. However, in #Africa, more than half the population still lacks electricity, and the #methodologies for measuring access continue to significantly vary across countries. This lack of #harmonisation poses a challenge in comparing progress and setting clear policy goals.

This webinar brings together panellists in the energy sectors from Kenya, Benin, and Senegal as well as presentations from #AFREC, The World Bank, and the International Energy Agency (IEA).

The webinar seeks to provide insights on the need for a harmonised methodology to measure electricity access, and to propose a roadmap for effective tracking under the #Mission300 target to provide electricity to 300 million #Africans by 2030

Who should attend?

Energy #Policymakers, #statisticians, #regulators, #developmentpartners, and anyone passionate about Africa’s #energyfuture

Let's work together to define, measure, and accelerate electricity access across Africa!
