AFREC Delivers On-Job Regional Training on the Energy Balance Questionnaire

The African Energy Commission (AFREC) delivered a three day training on the Energy Balance Questionnaire in a bid improve energy data collection and analysis under the African Energy Information System (AEIS).

The training included updates on four critical tools:

1. Energy Balance Questionnaire
2. Energy Efficiency Questionnaire
3. Energy Prices and Taxes Questionnaire
4. Questionnaire on Power Plants Capacity

AFREC has since announced the forthcoming launch of its 2025–2030 Strategy for the Improvement and Harmonisation of Energy Statistics in Africa.
